Once again, I reference Irma Eriksson's comic, "Imy"!  In the center panel, Rianne is wearing a version of Imy's classic "ROCK" shirt!  Seriously, if you're even remotely entertained by my comic, you'll love "Imy"! :)  CHECK IT OUT HERE!

Also, for this strip you may find Rianne's "rock on" hand gesture in the center panel a bit unusual. It's not her usual "Sign of Horns", but the "Kitsune", in reference to the "cute metal" band Babymetal. They were first introduced to me by Liz Staley of the c...

Concertiquette
Yeah, I still go to concerts. I swear, if Metallica ever returned to the Philippines, I'm so there! I found out recently, albeit too late, that they performed in several South East Asian countries last year. I would have flown to the concert, had I known. :(
Recently, though, concerts have become a pain. Far too many people would raise their mobile devices to record what's happening on stage. Why even pay to see them live when you're busy watching your personal video scre...

I don't know, I've found the classic faces of celestial bodies a little bit freaky for some reason.  While I understand that Georges Méliès' Le Voyage Dans la Lun is an important piece of cinematic history, the iconic image of the "man on the moon" had always unsettled me somewhat.

On that note, I'd much rather see the kind of celestial faces seen in Irma Eriksson's Cosmical!

7 August 2013 - 17th Anniversary

Posted by Carlo Jose San Juan, MD on Tuesday, August 6, 2013,
Hey everyone!
Well, what do you know?  My little comic strip is 17 years old!  I would never have thought that many years ago that this day could be a reality... yet here we are.
It's still so surreal to me that the once deeply hidden side of me would eventually spawn a second profession.  Thank you to everyone, readers and friends, for being so supportive!  And to those who have expressed just how much my work has brightened your day, as long as I can, I'll move mountains to keep at it...

Crazy Metro's Ernest John Daryll Fiestan follows up his previous guest comic strip for Callous with this one!  With all the roasted fowl present, it's probably best that Cal is in Peanut Butter heaven elsewhere... albeit in the thoughts of one JV!

Ernest seems to be having a lot of fun with this multi-series crossover.  In the middle frame, he features yours truly in a came...
