"How you doin'?" Artists who are active in the webcomic community in my region of the world are pretty few and far between. But it's always nice to meet someone in my own country who's also in this nutty webcomic world! Gio Guiao does Lakan at Makisig, one of the insane webcomics that actually updates daily. Click the link to get to his site, then follow him on Twitter, like his Page on Facebook, add him to your circles on G+, and check out his site on deviantART! Will we see him in newspapers next? Thanks, Gio!

Dr. Rianne Nicah and Cal Duck by Kai Castillo
Kai Castillo is a great artist and does a self-published comic called Patintero, named after a childhood playground game that had, in his comic, grown into a sport. Yeah, he's a fun guy and a staple in many local comic conventions and events! I love his uniquely stylish drawing of Rianne and Cal! Follow him on tumblr and like his Page on Facebook! Thanks Kai!

Dr. Rianne Nicah and Cal Duck by Mike Banting
Mike Banting is another guy I see quite often in local comic conventions. But you may recognize his name as the artist of the comic Drop Dead Dangerous! It's particularly interesting to see his take on Cal Duck as I've hardly seen him draw anthropomorphic animal characters (apart from Usagi Yojimbo). Looks brilliant! Rianne looks totally boss here! Click the link to check out the comic's official website, purchase the digital downloads, like the comic's page on Facebook, and check out Mike's site on devianART! Thank you so much, Mike!
